Repocket, the new recycled and 100 percent recyclable bagged spring designed by Antecon is for all intents and purposes a return to the future.
The concept of "return" underlies the reuse of raw materials that, rather than being discarded, become valuable resources again. That of "future" refers to innovative recycling processes capable of giving new life to materials that would otherwise pollute the environment.
In line with European regulations on eco-design, eco-labels and the use of remanufactured materials, REPOCKET is a concrete response to the needs of an increasingly sustainability-oriented market.
Antecon springing (REPOCKET, REMICRO, RESUPERMICRO) is REMADE certified, with more than 80% recycled material, fully regenerated and recyclable at the end of its life.
GREEN STEEL: RECYCLE, REGENERATE, REUSE
Antecon's green steel can be recycled an infinite number of times without ever losing its properties.
The steel in our REPOCKET is 94.4% reclaimed and fully recyclable. Our reclaimed steel is versatile, strong and durable.
Transparency in the use of this particular type of steel is crucial, which is why every supply is tracked through Antecon's "REMADE" product certification and Industry 4.0.
CIRCULAR GLUE: THE RECLAIMED ADHESIVE FOR YOUR SUSTAINABLE PRODUCT
The adhesive used in the REPOCKET product line is bio-circular.
The adhesive traditionally used in the market is derived entirely from petroleum, this new formulation, on the other hand, allows 96 percent of its composition to be free of petroleum but to use recycled materials already on the market or in nature.
The recycled percentage of the product is certified by the international ISCC PLUS scheme and approved by REMADE.
THE RECLAIMED FABRIC FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE
The upholstery fabric of individual springs is composed of regenerated polypropylene.
Through our partners, we are able to recycle waste from our own production and from other players in the textile and nonwoven market by giving it a new life. The fabric is remolded and regenerated into a unique compound that offers performance identical to that of the virgin product. In turn, the compound is processed to create a perfectly strong, high-performance fabric that will go into every single REPOCKET spring.
The fabric composition will be "UL" approved and REMADE certification is a guarantee of recycled material in the product.
The product is available in different heights from 8cm to 23cm, in single-zone or 3-5-7-9 zone versions, with bearing capacities varying between SOFT-MEDIUM-HARD and in the "PLUS" version with two layers of needle-punch needle-punched fabric glued on both bearing surfaces.
